Overview
MarcoPolo Learning is an award-winning home learning platform that engages children and empowers caregivers through interactive and educational experiences.
In 2018, the company launched MarcoPolo World School, its first educational app designed for children aged 3–7. This comprehensive learning program offers over 500 video lessons and 3,000 interactive activities, providing young explorers with an engaging way to discover the world.
My contributions included refining the brand’s visual identity, developing storyboards for app animations, and conceptualizing and designing numerous visual assets for mini-games. Additionally, I created educational print materials for the Educator platform, further extending the brand’s impact beyond the app.
Storyboard
We created 500+ videos categorized into various topics, e.g. Arctic, Rainforest, Space, Insects, Ocean, World Tour, etc. Each video we incorporate 2d animations to increase curiosity and entertainment in the learning process for kids.

Mini game
The mini-games are designed to reinforce the new knowledge children gain from videos, ensuring a seamless and engaging learning experience. When creating games for kids, our focus is on simplicity and enjoyment. To achieve this, we collaborated closely with educators to incorporate professional insights. The app now features eight mini-games, including unique ones like Tumbler, Shapes, and Sightwords, each crafted to make learning interactive and fun.

I created this custom typeface specifically for the Scramble mini-game in MarcoPolo World School, enhancing its playful and educational experience.
World school App winter updates 2020
The winter season is always a joy to celebrate, and in 2020, I led the design of the updated holiday look for the MarcoPolo World School app. I incorporated bright colors, rounded chunky 3D models, and festive winter-themed elements—such as stars, snowflakes, trees, and vibrant gift boxes—to bring the holiday spirit to life across various app environments.
